1 Day Trip — Orangutan & Wildlife Adventure

Morning

Begin your journey with a transfer from Pangkalan Bun to Kumai, where your traditional klotok boat awaits.

Cruise along the Sekonyer River while enjoying the beautiful rainforest scenery and opportunities to spot wildlife along the riverbanks.

Continue toward Camp Leakey, the most renowned orangutan research and rehabilitation center in Tanjung Puting National Park.

Afternoon

Enjoy lunch served on board before arriving at Camp Leakey.

Upon arrival, enjoy a short jungle walk and observe orangutans in their natural habitat during the feeding session. Learn about the conservation efforts taking place within the national park while exploring the surrounding rainforest.

Evening

As the klotok cruises back toward Kumai, enjoy wildlife spotting along the riverbanks, including the iconic proboscis monkey.

Depending on weather and river conditions, guests may also enjoy the magical sight of fireflies illuminating the Nipah palms before returning to Kumai.

Transfer back to your hotel or airport.
